Website will
have new look, more features
This
website will have a new look starting
Monday when the District switches its
web presence to a site hosted by School
Loop, a K-12 web program used by more
than 1,000 schools across the U.S.
Our address –
www.cdaschools.org
- will remain the same, but our site
will have more photos, more news items
and a standardized appearance from
school to school, as well as embedded
calendars listing school and district
events.
As in the
past, content will be controlled and
posted by webmasters at our 18 schools
and district office. Additionally, each
teacher and support staff member will
have the capability to add content to a
personal webpage with information for
students and parents. Once they receive
training in the fall, teachers will be
able to easily post assignments with
links to resources in a digital locker.
Fall registration
Registration for elementary and middle
school students for the 2009-2010 school
session will be held Tuesday, August 25.
High schools will register students over
the course of several days in late
August. Watch district and school
websites for details.
Public
comment on secondary novels
Fourteen novels
are currently being reviewed for use at
the secondary level. Public comment will
be accepted through August 14. The books
are available at your neighborhood
library or at the district office.
